FROM GALENA, IL
Take Stagecoach Trail East to Elizabeth-Scales Mound Road. Turn right on ESM Road. First left is Mill Creek Road. Make left on Mill Creek Road. Next road is Hammer Road. Make a left on Hammer and take 1.1 miles to entrance on right hand side with Moon Valley rock sign. Follow signs to Moon Valley.
FROM EAGLE RIDGE
Head east on Wachter Road which becomes Morley Road. Take Morley to Rawlins, turn left.
Take Rawlins to Elizabeth-Scales Mound Road. Turn left on Elizabeth-Scales Mound Road. Take Elizabeth-Scales Mound Road North to Mill Crekk Road. Take Mill Creek Road (watch for blue state sign to turn right on Mill Creek). Turn right. Take Mill Creek Road for 2.2 miles to Hammer Road. Take Hammer Road left 1 mile to 4757 N. Hammer Road. Turn at the Moon Valley rock sign and folllow signs to Moon Valley.
FROM CHICAGO
Take I 90 West to Route 20 (the exit after the Belvidere Oasis. Take Route 20 about one hour and a half through Freeport, Stockton and Elizabeth. Right after you exit the town of Elizabeth turn right on Elizabeth-Scales Mound Road.
Drive for 11 miles to Mill Creek Road. Make a right and drive for 2.2 miles to Hammer Road. Turn left on Hammer Road and drive for 1 mile. Look for the large rock on the right that says Moon Valley. Turn right at Moon Valley rock sign. Keep going straight through the black iron gates. Follow signs to Moon Valley.
